The New York Rangers staved off elimination (and the embarrassment of being swept on home ice) by pulling out Game 4 of the Stanley Cup Finals, 2-1, over the LA Kings. On Friday, June 13, they’ll look to creep a little closer in the series.
This one has been all over the map. In Games 1 and 2 the Rangers shot out to early leads, but couldn’t finish – losing both contests in overtime and double OT, respective. Game 3 saw Kings goalie Jonathan Quick stonewall New York to the tune of a breezy 3-0 LA victory. In Game 4, New York finally put together a complete game to extend the series.
What new twist will Game 5 bring?
