Whoever wins the 2014 Masters will find himself nearly $1.5 million richer. According to Darren Rovell, for the fourth consecutive year the man with a green jacket on Sunday will take home $1.44 million in prize money.

The winner’s pay is 12.5% of the total purse, which this year is $8 million.
*UPDATE* It looks like the prize money for 2014 will be a bit more than in 2013. Darren Rovell has updated his earlier report that the winning purse will be worth $1.62 million, not $1.44 million. The total payout is now $9 million.
