The last push for Lord Stanley’s Cup is on, as the New York Rangers and Los Angeles Kings square off in a bicoastal championship matchup.
For the Rangers, this is the first Stanley Cup Finals since Mark Messier’s famed guarantee in 1994. They’ll try to being back the Cup, despite giving up home ice to the Kings.
As for Los Angeles, they enter the matchup having played in three consecutive seven-game series – the most recent being a come from behind, overtime thriller against defending champion Chicago. The Kings look to capture their second ever Stanley Cup, having won the franchise’s first in 2012.
