With the launch of the highly anticipated SEC Network in August, college football will be welcoming “SEC Nation” to game days. The show, which takes after the College GameDay mold, will broadcast on location from an SEC game each week. It will feature host Joe Tessitore, Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow, LSU defensive end Marcus Spears, and radio host heavyweight Paul Finebaum. The show will air from 10:00 a.m. to noon on Saturdays, and will also broadcast from various other games.
The early season schedule for “SEC Nation” was recently released. The show will kickoff at the SEC’s Thursday night season opener between South Carolina and Texas A&M. The crew will then take a short trip to Auburn for Saturday’s August 30th opener between the Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks.
For Week 2, “SEC Nation” will broadcast from the Vanderbilt vs. Ole Miss game in Nashville. In Week 3 Tim Tebow will make his first stop in Gainesville as the show will broadcast from the Florida vs. Kentucky game.
The SEC Network will officially launch on August 14.
