Thursday Night Football Schedule 2014: CBS Joins NFL’s Thursday Mix

NFL fans got their first taste of the 2014 season on Wednesday night when the league released the official schedule. We’ve already taken a look at the “Monday Night Football” schedule, and now it’s time for the Thursday night contests.

CBS has entered the “Thursday Night Football” mix for the upcoming season, splitting the airing of the games with the NFL Network. CBS and the NFL Network will both air the first eight games. In Week 9, the NFL Network will take over the games, except for Thanksgiving’s broadcasts.

If you’re wondering why the opening game of the season, a Thursday night matchup between Seattle and Green Bay, is not listed here, it’s because it is part of the “Sunday Night Football” broadcast. It will air on NBC at 8:30 p.m. ET.

For Week 16, two “Thursday Night Football” games will air on Saturday (yes, it’s a little confusing).

Without further ado, here’s the entire “Thursday Night Football” schedule for 2014:
