Legendary Alabama head coach Paul Bryant may be known for his days coaching the Crimson Tide, but a little piece of the “Bear” will always be in College Station. Bryant coached the Aggies from 1954-57 before heading East to Tuscaloosa.
Texas A&M won its first Heisman Trophy under Bryant (John David Crow, 1957), and 55 years later Johnny Manziel brought the second stiff arm back to College Station – in part due to his incredible performance against Alabama.
So yeah, what better way to troll the Tide than placing their legendary coach in the jersey of his former team.
