Jimbo Fisher kicked off practice on Friday by killing a bat flying around FSU’s practice facility. It wasn’t a bare-handed move, but rather with what appeared to be a kicking tee – effectively teaching his players that in times of desperation, anything can be used as a cudgel. Considering it’s a frisky Friday, and Jimbo just earned infinity man-card credits with his team by killing a freaking bat – all while factoring in the power of #FSUTwitter – this seemed like a great chance to round up the best Twitter reactions.
Jimbo walks away from the bat carcass ad LB Terrance Smith says “That’s West Virginia for you.”

Was Jimbo able to get any GPS data from that bat?

If PETA will go after Randy Johnson for accidentally nailing a bird, I expect Jimbo will get a sternly worded letter — at the very least. — Patrik Nohe (@PatrikNohe) August 8, 2014
Jimbo Fisher viciously killing bats in front of his players only further shows the thug environment of FSU football. My column:

These bats in Tallahassee, man. Like baby squirrels with wings. Good work, Jimbo. — Corey Clark/TDO.com (@Corey_Clark) August 8, 2014

Thanks to Jimbo Fisher, TIL: A kicking tee is also a killing tee. http://t.co/ezp05WLra1
