The Miami Heat barely managed to edge out the Orlando Magic on Saturday night, 101-99, no thanks to LeBron James on this fast break.
Here’s something you simply don’t see everyday. King James looked like he was about to do what he does best after breaking free midway through the first quarter. Instead, the two-time defending NBA champion, and reigning MVP, didn’t even go for a signature slam.
He turned his palm upwards, attempted a finger roll, but came up totally empty-handed, so to speak. He would make up for it later, hitting a game-winning jumper for the Heat.
