Carolyn Manno: Meet NBC’s Kentucky Derby Reporter

Break out the mint juleps and hot browns, folks, because it’s Kentucky Derby time. The Derby’s 140th running will be broadcast for the 14th consecutive year by NBC. Stalwarts Bob Costas and Tom Hammond will host the event, and joining them are fresh faces such as Josh Elliott, Tara Lipinski and Johnny Weir. Of the entire broadcast team, one person to watch for is rising star Carolyn Manno.

Currently known for  co-hosting “SportsDash” on NBCSN and reporting for “Football Night in America,” Manno has seen her stock sail in the past six months. Her gig at the Derby comes on the heels of exceptional reporting and hosting work at the Sochi Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

A proud graduate from the University of Florida (which seems to be churning out all the top media talent these days), here is a sample of Manno’s top Instagram photos.
