Kate Upton photographed in space conditions for 2014 SI Swimsuit Issue

Sports Illustrated is breaking out all of the stops for the 50th edition of the famed Swimsuit Issue. According to the New York Post, supermodel Kate Upton was photographed in a zero-gravity chamber to simulate space.

Sources tell us Upton was shot in a zero-gravity chamber in a silver swimsuit with weightless ample bosom and big hair that made her “look like something out of ‘Barbarella.’ ”

Upton graced the cover of the past two issues (2012 and 2013). Last year she made a trip to Antarctica for her cover shoot. The NYP points out that, following her trip, late-night show host Jimmy Fallon joked that, next time, she should hit space because “there’s no gravity.”

It seems like someone at SI took Fallon’s comment into consideration. We can only wonder if he’ll get any creative credit in the issue.
