Tinder takes over Sochi Olympics: 10 athletes to always right swipe

According to Olympic gold medal snowboarder Jamie Anderson, the “dating” app Tinder has taken over the Sochi Olympic Village. I put dating in quotes because we all know it’s really just a hook-up app.

“Tinder!” Anderson told Us with a laugh about the dating app. “Tinder in the Olympic Village is next level. It’s all athletes! In the mountain village it’s all athletes. It’s hilarious. There are some cuties on there.”

“There was a point where I had to be like OK, this is way too distracting,” she said of using Tinder. “I deleted my account to focus on the Olympics.”

I’ve never been an Olympic athlete, nor will I ever be one, but I can only imagine how easy it is to intermingle in a village full of young, attractive individuals. An app that makes that process even easier seems deadly. Hopefully the 100,000 condom distribution wasn’t an underestimation.

Anderson’s quotes got us thinking here at Gamedayr. If we happened to stumble into Sochi during the Olympics with Tinder in hand, which athletes would we want to see in our search radius.

Following is a list of 10 Olympians (5 girls and 5 guys) that would be given a right swipe every time.
