Virginia Tech coach Frank Beamer first played cornerback as a Hokie and then took on the head coaching duties in 1987. However, the nation’s winningest and longest-tenured coach has rarely suffered a year as poor as what he and his team have suffered through thus far in 2012.

But never fear, Beamer, there is still a way, despite a 2-4 in-conference record, that your Hokies can earn a spot in the ACC Championship Game.

Good luck buddy — we are all hoping you believe in miracles.
