The first four Big 12 opponents No. 5-ranked Baylor faced this year were: West Virginia, Kansas State, Iowa State and Kansas. Those four squads are a combined 4-17 in conference play. The Bears have not exactly been tested by any difficult league competition.
That will all change this week. On Thursday night, Baylor plays host to one-loss, tenth-ranked Oklahoma in one of the biggest regular season games in program history. The Bears are eager to prove they belong in the national championship conversation, and will have the chance to do exactly that in a nationally televised showcase.
If the prospect of spectacular football between two BCS-caliber teams isn’t enough to get you jacked up, hopefully this hype video will do the trick. It certainly has for us.
