Cody Zeller, at 7-foot and 230 pounds, certainly has a statue fit for the Big Apple. However, seeing as the Hoosier went from Washington, Indiana to his home state’s Bloomington campus, he may not have been quite as ready for the Brooklyn scene as some others gearing up for the 2013 NBA Draft.
Now, before you read his tweet below, understand that Washington is a 4.77-square mile town which had an estimated population of 11,739 in 2012. That’s practically the same number as one might find in a New York City high rise or two.
Traffic here in New York is crazy! The only time that traffic is this bad at home is when a tractor is driving on the road.

Is this the winning quote from the NBA Draft? It is still early as of writing, but, well, we’re loving it.
The small-town superstar follows in his brothers’ footsteps (Tyler currently plays for the Cavaliers and Luke used to dress for Phoenix) but will he make good on all of his potential?
