On Tuesday night, the Miami Heat finally managed to send the upstart Indiana Pacers home for the offseason with a 99-76 Game 7 victory.

The San Antonio Spurs, meanwhile, have been watching from the comfort of their homes for quite some time. The oldies but goodies managed to sweep Memphis to earn their first NBA Finals berth since 2007 — when they beat LeBron James’ Cleveland Cavaliers for the title.

LeBron is a very different player than the young leader of an over-matched Cavs squad he was back then. He has developed into the single greatest player in the galaxy, while all the world believes San Antonio is far too old to even be here.

But all of that’s why they play the games. James will have the chance to exact revenge, while the Spurs will have the chance to prove they have one more title-winning run in them.
