Indiana Hoosiers take the No. 1 seed in the East Region for NCAA Tournament

The Indiana Hoosiers took home the regular season crown of the nation’s most talented and most competitive conference, the Big Ten. Coach Tom Crean’s squad sent not one, but two guys to the All-American team in superstar guard Victor Oladipo and center Cody Zeller.

Thus, seeing them on the top of the East region is no surprise. What is a big surprise is seeing another Big Ten team in this region ranked so high. Illinois, despite losing a number of games in the regular season and boasting a sub-.500 in-conference record at 8-10, finds itself as a 7-seed.
