SEC players invited to the 2013 NFL Combine

The Southeastern Conference continues to flex it’s muscle in every aspect of college football, from National Signing Day to the NFL Combine. The complete list of NCAA players invited to the 2013 NFL Combine was recently released, and of the 333 athletes, 79 are from the SEC.

Nearly 24% of the players invited hail from the mighty SEC. Of the 79 players, LSU leads the pack with 13, followed by Georgia with 11, Florida (10), Alabama (10), South Carolina (7), Arkansas (6), Texas A&M (6), Tennessee (5), Auburn (3), Mississippi State (3), Missouri (3), Kentucky (1), and Vanderbilt (1).

The only SEC school to be left out of the event is Ole Miss, but judging from the class Hugh Freeze signed in 2013, that will only be temporary.
