The Gators have not only been winning on the field during the 11-1, 2012 campaign, but the results have been felt off the field as well.
On Thursday, head coach Will Muschamp and Co. received good news as four-star safety Marcell Harris pledged his commitment to the Orange ‘n Blue.
Harris, who chose Florida over FSU, Oklahoma and Texas, is currently ranked as the 49th-overall prospect, according to Rivals.com.
The 6’1″, 207 lb defensive menace is following in his father’s footsteps. Mike Harris suited up from 1994-1997 for Steve Spurrier, during the rise of the Gators program.
He joins a class that is already regarded as one of the tops in the country, currently ranked No. 2 overall by Rivals.
