2014 NBA All-Star starters revealed: Kobe makes team, Dwight Howard left off

The starting roster for the 2014 NBA All-Star Game is set. TNT’s “Inside the NBA” announced this year’s squads on Thursday night.

One big glaring omission is Houston Rockets center Dwight Howard. Both Clippers forward Blake Griffin and Timberwolves forward Kevin Love beat Howard out in the voting.

Despite being injured, Kobe Bryant still has the star power to garner first-team votes.

Following is a rundown of each starting five:

  • Dwyane Wade – Guard
  • LeBron James – Forward
  • Paul George – Forward
  • Carmelo Anthony – Forward

WEST

  • Stephen Curry – Guard
  • Kobe Bryant – Guard
  • Kevin Durant – Guard
  • Blake Griffin – Forward
  • Kevin Love – Forward

The game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 16 from New Orleans Arena.
