Aaron Hernandez’s legal situation looks to have grown more chaotic. While Hernandez has awaited trial for the murder of Odin Lloyd, Boston Police have been investigating his potential connection to a double murder from 2012.
It wasn’t until Hernandez was detained for Llyod’s murder that his name was tied to the other case. However, according to Wesley Lowery of the Boston Globe, it appears that police have accumulated enough evidence to believe that Hernandez was the shooter.

While a witness identified Hernandez as the gunman of the 2012 drive-by shooting in October 2013, NESN points out that “this is the first time police have indicated any belief that he might have been the trigger man.”
