Accuweather launches site to predict if it will snow during Super Bowl

TOPICS:

AccuWeather is capitalizing on the upcoming Super Bowl in New York/New Jersey. The company has launched a site called willitsnow.com.

“Will it Snow” is entirely dedicated to whether or not it will snow on February 2, 2014, the day of the Super Bowl. It has live forecast updates for MetLife Stadium, predictions from meteorologists, preparation guides for the game, and even a “countdown to kickoff” clock.

With all the hubbub over the game’s potential weather conditions, and the media’s dissatisfaction over the location, AccuWeather might generate some good traffic off its new venture.
