Each year winners of the Masters Tournament gather in Augusta for what’s called the Masters Champions Dinner. It’s an annual tradition that dates back to 1952. The previous year’s winner gets to select the menu for evening, which means in 2014 that honor is bestowed upon 2013 champion Adam Scott.
For his selections, Scott decided to forego some of the exotic options his home country of Australia has to offer, instead going with a surf and turf, Australian barbecue theme.
“I didn’t pick anything exotic,” he said. “It’s a lot of surf and turf. I think the guys are going to be happy with what I serve up tonight, particularly the wine.”
One item on the menu is Moreton Bay bugs, a species of shovel-nosed lobster found in the Pacific and Indian Oceans, which you can see below.
Let’s be honest, you can never go wrong with a little surf and turf.
