The design team over at adidas has been extremely busy lately. For the most part, we have been seeing their work at the collegiate level, namely Notre Dame’s slick new Shamrock Series gear, but the company is also outfitting stars at the pro level.
adidas will officially be dropping Dwight Howard’s new kicks on Nov. 1, and a sneak peek has been posted on NBA.com. The D Howard 4’s feature various hues of red, black, orange and yellow that will compliment his new Houston Rockets uniforms very nicely. adidas’ trademark three stripes will be gold with blue shoelaces threaded through the ends.
Howard’s personal logo (because yes, D-12 has a personal logo) is featured prominently on the tongue of the shoe. With the black spot near the ankle bones and surrounding semi-circles, this pair has the feel of a sound wave energetically moving through it.
Overall, we’re digging the shoes, but what do you think? Sound off in the comments section below!
