Tyler Wilson gets drafted while at Walmart in most Arkansas move ever

After starting at quarterback for Arkansas, Tyler Wilson knows his way around a Walmart or two. Thus, where else would the former Razorbacks star head to while waiting for his name to be called in the NFL Draft than America’s largest retailer?

Of course, in what we are pretty sure is the most Arkansas move ever, Wilson got his phone call right then and there, in the middle of a Wally World. The Oakland Raiders had selected him in the fourth round, where he will be waiting his turn behind Matt Flynn and Terelle Pryor on the depth chart.

Wilson recounted the experience to the Log Cabin Democrat (which is, you guessed it, the most perfect newspaper name we have ever heard):

“I was fed up with watching so we just got out and then get the phone call there in Walmart, of all places, but that’s good being from Arkansas.”

As long he knows.

Believe us, Wilson, we’re laughing with you — that’s a far better trip than simply buying a five-pound box of Cheez-Its at a low-low price, isn’t it?
