Game. Set. Match. Audi has won the advertising game for the Sochi Olympics, and maybe all of 2014.
Following the Olympic rings fail at the Opening Ceremony, the folks in Audi’s marketing department went to work. The company created this clever graphic of the ring fail with the line, “When four rings is all you need.” The ring that didn’t blossom is used as an asterisk for the explanation in the graphic.
Audi’s logo is four interlocking rings, which lends itself perfectly to the unopened ring.
