Breaking News: Batkid saves Lou Seal from dastardly Penguin

San Francisco was the scene for a heartwarming adventure on Friday. Five-year-old Miles Scott, with the help of roughly 12,000 volunteers, became Batman. Er, Batkid.

Scott, who is in remission from leukemia, told the Make-A-Wish Foundation that his wish was to become Batman for a day. The request soon went viral, and seemingly everyone in San Francisco wanted to be in on the fun.

Anchors broadcasted false news stories, calling for Batkid’s help. The young man received an urgent call from the city’s chief of police, too. Throughout the day, Batkid Miles Scott foiled capers from bad guys across San Francisco.

The story intersects with sports when Batkid was called to save the San Francisco Giants’ mascot, Lou Seal. Batkid rushed to AT&T Park, saved Lou, and even caught the dastardly Penguin.

Thank you, Batkid.
