The Baylor Bears and Texas Longhorns will square off in the teams’ last regular-season game of the year on Dec. 7. For the occasion Baylor will be breaking out a new set of uniforms.
On Monday Uni Watch’s Phil Hecken tweeted the following promotional image of the Bears’ 1950’s retro throwback uniforms.
The uniforms will feature gold helmets with a thin green stripe across the middle, and no decals. The jerseys and socks are solid green, with white pants sandwiched in between.
Players will wear predominantly gold gloves and cleats.
The game marks the Bears’ final contest in Floyd Casey Stadium, as the team will move into a new stadium next season. The 1950s tribute to “The Case” concludes a season-long celebration of the stadium’s six decades hosting Baylor football.
