Wow. Just wow.
Italian soccer star Mario Balotelli has always been a lightening rod for criticism, despite his unbelievable talent on the field. Thus, the dude sports his trademark “Why always me?” shirts under his playing jerseys as a small ‘shove it’ to his detractors and the racism he deals with from hooligans.
Now, the anonymous parents of “Racist Internet Baby” (get those memes cranking, Redditers!) have really taken the hoopla surrounding this dude to another level. The “blacked up” face seems pretty self-explanatory (and horribly, horribly wrong) but in case you were wondering, the sponge is supposed to be Balotelli’s mohawk.
But don’t worry, boys and girls, those parents knew what they were doing — it’s all only permanent marker on his face, no biggie. (Quick note, according to The UK’s Sun, it’s actually chocolate, but wouldn’t it have been even more sickeningly hilarious if this baby’s parents had used marker?)
