Tennessee gave Georgia all they could handle yesterday, losing by seven points, 51-44. The Vols may not have won, but they did show that this year’s Bulldogs are beatable.

The vaunted Georgia defense, led by all-everything linebacker Jarvis Jones, gave up 35 points to the Vols, in their own house. To put the scoring into perspective, Florida allowed just 20 points in Neyland Stadium.

The Bulldogs also allowed 478 total yards of offense, compared to 350 total yards given up by the Gators defense.

On the offensive side of the ball, Florida gained 555 yards of offense on the Vols, while Georgia totaled 560 yards of offense. Nearly equal outputs, yet one was on the road in a hostile environment.

To cut to the chase, this year’s SEC East favorite Georgia Bulldogs are beatable, and this terrible play by Aaron Murray shows why.
