Week 2 of the 2013 NFL season can’t come soon enough for heated NFC West rivals Seattle and San Francisco. Both teams are already expected to not only compete for the divisional title, but to make a run at a Super Bowl ring as well.
San Francisco coach Jim Harbaugh does not want to see the Seahawks advancing past his squad if they are utilizing any extra juice, if you know what we mean. The fact that several Seattle players have been busted and suspended for PED use prompted Harbaugh to tell reporters, “If you win by cheating, you’ve already lost.”
One of those suspended players, Seattle safety Brandon Browner, took offense to Harbaugh’s direct attack on the character of the franchise. Asked by Dave Mahler of Sports Radio KJR in Seattle what exactly he thought of the San Francisco head man, and Mr. Browner did not mince words:
“He’s never gonna be out there lined up against me. I wish he would. I’d put my hands around his neck,” Browner said.
Wow, tell us how you really feel.
Listen to the portion of the conversation between Browner and Mahler where the defensive back addresses Harbaugh.
