The University of California has sold naming rights to its field. For the next 15 years the Golden Bears will play on “Kabam Field.”
According to the New York Times, video game maker Kabam has paid $18 million for rights to the field at California Memorial Stadium. Kabam will have its name displayed on the 25-yard lines of the field, as well as signage at the stadium’s 50-yard line.
Kabam is a San Francisco-based developer of mobile games. One of its most notable products is the strategy game Kingdoms of Camelot.
