As bitter SEC West rivals, coaches Nick Saban and Les Miles are used to fighting each other both on the playing field as well as on the recruiting circuit.
One such battle will reportedly come to a dramatic close this Friday, Aug. 30. Cameron Robinson, the nation’s No. 1-rated overall recruit for the class of 2014 according to 247 Sports, has announced that he will be making his decision the day before both Alabama and LSU take the field for their season-opening Saturday games.
At 6-foot-5 and 330 pounds, the West Monroe, Louisiana native still manages to run a 40-yard dash in 5.27 seconds. He is considered one of the best left tackle prospects in several years.
On Friday, one of two national powerhouses will enter the 2013 season with some serious 2014 recruiting momentum.
But which will it be? The folks over at 247 seem to be split down the middle with their prognostications, so we put it to you, the erstwhile member of Gamedayr Nation.
