Twitter is a place for people to sound off anonymously – especially when it comes to college football rivalries. And seeing as it’s Miami-FSU week, this rivalry is getting heated over the Twitter feeds and the University of Miami is frustrated. Almost as frustrated as Canes fans are with the University of Miami, but that’s another story.
Even after having lost to Cincinnati last week, the official Twitter page of the University of Miami Football Team tweeted this gem out on Tuesday:
We've noticed an influx of FSU fans tweeting at us this week. As such, we encourage you to post here, instead: http://t.co/z1QxIBvgZQ

But people took this tweet as seriously as other teams take the Canes out on the field.
@MiamiHurricanes please become relevant again…it's become boring to play the canes!

There are plenty of other tweets reminding the Canes how mediocre they’ve been over the past few years. Hopefully a win against in-state and conference rival FSU can silence the haters and maybe, just maybe comments can be sent to MakingTheURelevantAgain.com.
