CenturyLink Field had a ‘BeastQuake’ after Marshawn Lynch touchdown

CenturyLink Field is so loud that seismometers were installed around the stadium in order to track earthquakes caused by the Seahawks’ 12th Man. The monitors were put to work during the third quarter of Seattle’s NFC Championship Game after Marshawn Lynch scored on a 40-yard touchdown run.

The Clink registered a “BeastQuake.”

The touchdown run tied the game (following the extra point) at 10. It was Lynch’s 15th carry of the day, for a total of 89 yards. Lynch now has four touchdowns runs of 25 or more yards in the postseason, which is double any other player in NFL history.
