The Ice Bucket Challenge has been sweeping the country in an effort to raise awareness for ALS, as well as money to help fight the disease. Through 22 days, the challenge has generated nearly as much money as the ALS Association totaled last year: $22.9 million vs. $23.5 million.
On Tuesday it was Nick Saban and Alabama’s turn. Prior to taking on the chilly water, Saban challenged former Alabama running back and Heimsan Trophy winner Mark Ingram, West Virginia senator Joe Manchin, Florida Gators head coach Will Muschamp, and ESPN radio personality Paul Finebaum.
