According to ESPN analyst Joey Galloway, Alabama is “the most overrated team in college football.”

I’ll agree to disagree with Mr. Galloway, especially considering an Ohio State team that’s without its star quarterback is sitting at No. 5.
Alabama has been so dominant during the Nick Saban era that a double-digit win over a decent FBS program in the first game of the season is not impressive on Crimson Tide standards. However, the fact is Alabama still managed to dispatch of West Virginia by 10 points while working in a new quarterback and offensive coordinator.
It’s probably better to reserve judgement here before calling Alabama “overrated.”
