RECAP: Florida Stays Unbeaten On Home Court With Win Over Jacksonville

The Florida Gators basketball team is on a roll, well at home at least.

Florida continued their unbeaten home stand by dominating the Jacksonville Dolphins and winning the game 89-65.
It was their first home game in three weeks.

Since being away, Florida lost two major games against ranked opponents: No. 13 Miami and No. 1 Michigan State. The Gators definitely wanted to turn this around once they got their home court advantage.

Here are some highlights of the game:

KeVaughn Allen led Florida with 15 points, also marking a career high for the freshman. John Egbunu, Doran Finney-Smith, and Devin Robinson also scored in double figures to help the Gators get off to an early and dominating lead.

Another highlight, rookie head coach Mike White became the first Florida coach to win his first five home games since Norm Sloan in 1960.

The Gators are now 8-3 on the season and are trying to continue their momentum. This is their second straight win.

Florida will host in-state rival Florida State on Dec. 29 at 7 p.m. Hopefully their lucky home streak will continue and help them get the win and bragging rights.
