The ACC football title game has officially found a new home for the 2016-17 season.
The ACC Championship Game will move to Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida, the conference announced Thursday.
The game is set to kick off on Dec. 3 at either 7:45 pm on ESPN or 8 pm on ABC.
The ACC decided to pull its championship game from the original Charlotte, North Carolina site because of the state’s controversial House Bill 2 law, which limits the legal protection of the LGBT community.
Since the ACC made the announcement that it would move the title game, Orlando was a favorite to host it. The only conflict was that Florida’s high school football state championship games would be held at the same time.
In order to remedy the situation, the high school state title games are expected to move to the following week.
This will be the sixth time the state of Florida has hosted an ACC title game. The last time it did so was in Tampa in 2009.
