Auburn football coach Gus Malzahn is confident Sean White will be able to start for the Tigers in their bowl game.
“He’ll be full force and ready to go,” Malzahn said.
The Tigers are in line for a Sugar Bowl berth and Malzahn is extremely hopeful that his team will be healthier across the board and ready to play.
White has been out for the last two games against Alabama and Alabama A&M after suffering a right shoulder injury. He first injured his shoulder in the game against Ole Miss, then sat out of the first half of the Vanderbilt game the following week.
White then reinjured his shoulder on the first series against Georgia in November. His numbers were definitely less than stellar that game, and White even admitted he should have let coaches know about how bad he was hurting.
Auburn won six straight games while he was healthy.
