Kentucky running back Jojo Kemp is not afraid of a vaunted Alabama defense led by senior All-American C.J. Mosley. In fact, the freshman out of DeLand, Fla. is guaranteeing that his Wildcats will not suffer the same fate as Ole Miss, who was shut out at the hands of the Tide, 25-0.
When asked about the Wildcats’ game plan on offense as they prepare for the No. 1 Tide, Kemp was not shy: “We’re jut going to make our routine plays. They’re going to get scored on this week.”
Confidence is one thing, but this is bordering on foolishness. Kentucky has not been competitive in ages, and giving the nation’s most dominant team bulletin board material is generally not the best idea.
On the other hand, have we really come to a point where teams are now guaranteeing points instead of wins over mighty Alabama?
