Florida Football Players Ditch The Pads For Paintball

The Gators were treated to a welcomed surprise last week when a team meeting turned into an afternoon of fun away from the gridiron. Players put down the pads on and picked up the paintball guns in an effort to further build team chemistry heading into the season.

While it’s not studying the Xs and Os, head coach Will Muschamp views off-the-field activities like this a crucial part to the on-field production.

“It’s important for our players and coaches to get together off the field, outside the stadium and the weight room,” Muschamp stated. “We thought this was an excellent opportunity for our team to spend some time together in a fun, team-building environment.”

From the looks of this tweet from linebacker Matt Rolin, him and defensive end Dante Fowler enjoyed the outing.
