Only hours before Saturday’s kickoff against Idaho, and the Florida Gators have suspended Demarcus Robinson, Jay-nard Bostwick and Darious Cummings.
In a statement obtained by Only Gators, the reasons for the suspensions are as follows:
“Jay-nard Bostwick and Darious Cummings will not play due to a violation of team rules and Demarcus Robinson will miss the game due to a university sanction that is now resolved,” Muschamp said in a release posted on the school’s website. “I support the university sanction. We have rules here that we have to follow — team, athletic department and university rules — and when you don’t follow them there are consequences.”
It’s believed that Robinson’s suspension is a continuation from last year’s disciplinary actions, in which he missed the final two games of the season.
Robinson suspended for “university sanction” while Cummings & Bostwick were violations of team rules. #Gators

Muschamp expected all three players to be active prior to kickoff, but that’s clearly not the case.
