Recruit George Brown Commits To Gators With Live Alligator

George Brown Jr. announced his commitment for the Florida Gators on Friday at a press conference. With reporters and fans looking on, Brown pulled out a live baby alligator to reveal his college choice.

Brown is 13th-ranked offensive tackle in the 2015 recruiting class, and the No. 118 player overall, according to Rivals.com. The 6-foot-6, 260-pound Cincinnati, Ohio native chose Florida over the likes of Kentucky, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, and nearly every other major program in the country.

*UPDATE* ESPN’s Derek Tyson reports that the animal Brown used was actually a dorsal caiman, not an alligator.
