I’ll admit it: I’m a sucker for all things GoPro. Heck, even today I watched a clip from one strapped to the back of a dog as he ran down the beach into the ocean. And while I freely admit that I’m an enthusiast (don’t call it an addiction!), this video of the Georgia Redcoat Marching Band is pretty awesome.
One member of the drumline strapped a camera to his snare, and offers a first-person look at what it’s like to stand Between the Hedges in front of 92,000 of your closest friends. The below clip was taken before UGA’s opening game against Clemson, and is just a wild scene. You don’t necessarily need to watch the entire thing to get the gist, but some quick jump-throughs illustrate just what game day at Sanford is like – and at a unique POV, no less.
And for the sake of balance, here’s a quick clip of the band from the stands.
