Gopher Football Shuttle Service

Gameday Shuttle Map

On home game-days, Gopher Football Shuttles will connect parking locations on the West Bank and St. Paul campus to TCF Bank Stadium.

Pre-Game

Football shuttles will run every 15 minutes starting FOUR hours before the game and increase to 5-10 minute service starting 2 hours before the game.

  • The St. Paul Shuttle will stop at the following locations: Lot S108 (St.Paul) and TCF Bank Stadium (East Bank).
  • The West Bank Shuttle will stop in the following locations: The West Bank Shuttle will stop in the following locations: 4th St. S.
    between 19th and 20th Ave. S. (West Bank) and TCF Bank
    Stadium around Oak and 5th St. (East Bank).

St. Paul Parking Lot

Post-Game

After the game, shuttles will run continuously for an hour. After this, service will return to regular 30-minute weekend service at regular bus stops.

  • The St. Paul Shuttle will pick up fans on the Transitway between 23rd and 25th Avenues (north of the Minnesota Lot).
  • The West Bank Shuttle will pick up fans along the east side of Oak Street between 4th and 5th Streets.
Handicap Transportation

Dedicated ADA accessible shuttles for those with disabilities or in need of extra assistance will be available on the West Bank and St. Paul shuttle routes. View the maps above for locations. The St. Paul disability shuttle, post-game, will load on the west side of 23rd Ave. where the shuttle drops off pregame. The West Bank shuttle will load at the same location as the regular Gopher Football shuttles on the east side of Oak Street between 4th and 5th Street.

Additionally, the Athletics department will run golf cart shuttles for individuals requiring assistance between the University Avenue Ramp and TCF Bank Stadium.

Metro Transit

Minneapolis’s Metro Transit system is a great way for fans to get to the tailgate and football game without the hassle of driving. For help planning your game-day trip by bus, light rail or train, please visit metrotransit.org or call 612-373-3333.

Bus

Metro Transit operates Saturday bus service for all games. TCF Bank Stadium can be conveniently accessed on routes 2, 3, 6, 16 or 50. Purchase an Event 6-Hour Pass for $3.50 from the bus driver for easy round-trip travel.

Hiawatha Light Rail

Metro Transit’s Hiawatha light rail line operates every 10-15 minutes on Saturdays. Park in one of 2,800 free Park & Ride spaces along the line and purchase an Event 6-Hour Pass for $3.50 from the ticket machine on the rail station platform for easy round trip travel. To access TCF Bank Stadium, exit the train at Downtown East/Metrodome Station and board a bus (routes 16 or 50) on 4th Street. After the game, show your Event 6-Hour Pass to board a Route 16 or Route 50 bus to Downtown East/Metrodome Station.
