General Public

Parking Overview: Visiting fans have on and off campus options for day of game parking. Both are good options and provide shuttle services. For Rv goers make sure you reserve a spot ahead of time if you wish to be on campus, or park at the Ohio State Fairgrounds.

Ohio State Gameday Parking Map

On Campus

Public parking is available in any “Day-of-Game” lot on a first-come, first-served basis at a charge of $15 per vehicle. Day-of-game parking spaces are available at 6am on the day of the game. Parking lots tend to fill early on game days. The majority of these lots are across the river from Ohio Stadium. Exact locations of the lots are shaded in red on the map to the right.

For those fans parking on West Campus, a free shuttle will provide continuous service beginning six hours before kickoff continuing through one hour after the game. Shuttles pick up and drop off fans at Mount Hall on West Campus and the Sisson Hall footbridge located just west of Drake Union and Ohio Stadium.

Off Campus

Visiting fans can also park at the Ohio Expo Center & State Fair Grounds just to the east of campus, and ride the Central Ohio Transit Authority (COTA) shuttle to campus. Visit Ohio State Fairgrounds and COTA for more information.

Valuecards, temporary single or multi-day permits are not valid for football parking.

Season Ticket/Reserved

The lots directly surrounding Ohio Stadium are reserved for season ticket holders, as well as a handful of other lots within close vicinity to the stadium. These lots are shaded in purple on the map to the right. For more information on season parking permits and season tickets contact the Buckeyes Athletic Ticket Office at (614)292-2624.

Any purchased current annual OSU parking permit will be honored in day-of-game lots (except the Camper/RV parking lots) at NO CHARGE.

RV, Bus & Other

Fans who park recreational vehicles, campers, and vans must pre-purchase parking permits. RV permits go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on July 19, 2011 online through the Athletics Department website, ohiostatebuckeyes.com. These passes are sold on a first-come, first-served basis. For more information about the sale, please click here. Lot location is shaded pink on the map above.

There is no day-of-game RV parking. Spaces are all pre-assigned, and the designated spaces are held for the permit holder until 90 minutes prior to kick off. RV parking lots open at 5:00am on the day of each home football game. RV/campers with permits who arrive before the lots open or RV/campers without a camper parking permit may park at the Ohio State Fairgrounds on a first-come, first-served basis. On game days, COTA shuttles are available to provide transportation to the campus before, during and after the football game.

Handicap

Disability parking is located off Lane Avenue in the North St. John Arena lot and in the Lane Avenue Parking Garage. Lift equipped shuttles provide continuous service to and from these locations to the east side of the stadium at Gate 22. Lot location is shaded in blue on the map above.

For access to the disability parking areas, prominently display a valid disability permit and follow the officer’s directions. All spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis and require that the registered owner of the state placard (along with the current registration for the state disability placard) or OSU disability permit be present in the car. A $15.00 parking fee or valid OSU parking permit is required to park.
