FCS Lineman Does Massive Workout Before Fall Practice

Over the summer months (in an effort to pass time until football season started), we’ve shown you some impressive workout routines and max efforts from some of the top college and high school athletes in the country.

Ladies and gentlemen, I think that we have this summer’s winner.

Michael Pierce is a lineman for the Samford Bulldogs of the FCS subdivision. Video has recently surfaced showing Pierce doing work in the weight room … and by work, we’re talking about a max squat of over 700 pounds:

Wow. I feel like such a weak person right now.

Pierce, who transferred from Tulane to the Bulldogs, should be a force in the middle of the defensive line this season. And if it comes down to it, he can squat the offensive linemen in his way.
