Ladies and gentlemen, here is your (before 4 PM) nominee for play of the week from the early games of college football. And it comes from Penn State freshman Saquon Barkley, who made the Buffalo Bulls defense look bad on one run:
Barkley ripped off a 33-yard gain, and on the ensuing play, took a hand-off and dashed through the middle of the Buffalo defense. A Bull defender tried to tackle him low, and it was a bad idea. Barkley hurdled him cleanly in an impressive display of athleticism.

The Nittany Lions would later score on the drive to take a 20-7 lead. After a disappointing loss in their opener to in-state foe Temple, Penn State is looking to get some momentum before heading into the Big Ten schedule in a few weeks.
