Leave it up to the Marlins and owner Jeffrey Loria to spend more money on a home run sculpture than the guys suiting up for the team.
This bad boy only cost $2.5 million to erect — more than 22 of the current players on the team — no big deal.
The good news? Teams have to visit Marlins Park, so hopefully there will be some home runs hit (let’s face it Miami fans, the team won’t be scoring too many runs).
Here it is, $2.5 million hard at work…
And of course there’s a .gif (via SB Nation).
