1. In medium mixing bowl, combine sour cream, lemon juice, and dill.
2. Add salt and pepper to taste; whisk well to combine.
3. Add cucumbers, and toss to coat.
4. Garnish with fresh dill, if desired.
5. Serve immediately, or refrigerate, covered, up to 4 hours.
